When selecting the right paintball gun, or marker, you should be sensible about the skill level that you have achieved. If you are just starting out, you can start with an inexpensive paintball gun. After using and finagling around with the used paintball guns, you may eventually decide to get one of your own that you feel comfortable with, and possibly with all the features you want.

Visit your local paintball store and price the guns you like. You can also order them through the mail and over the Internet, but don’t order anything you haven’t essentially seen or held. Sometimes advertising can be a tad ambiguous. Acquire your paint-gun and familiarize yourself with it. You should know how to take it entirely apart and put it back together prior to playing the game.  You should be able to do this in your sleep, it is that important.
